Artistic Landscape Quilting

Landscape Quilting Workshop Description

In this workshop we will primarily use free motion machine embroidery to create a free form design inspired by our favorite landscapes. From mountain, to sea, to fall leaves, the South West, the possibilities are open to your favorite.

We will begin with a sample then work on our 24”x24” which when finished can be made into wall art or pillow or applied to a garment or quilt. You can also use it for the center of a quilt, or be inspired to make a larger quilt in this style.

We will work with fabrics, threads, and yarns buttons or shells to embellish with texture. You’ll be surprised how this form of free embroidery brings out the artist in you!

The goal is to complete our 24” x24” square in the five hour workshop with a short lunch break if desired.

Let’s have fun creating together! Louise Marie
